Reputable junk car buyers do not charge towing fees. That's not to say there aren't some buyers out there that do. Stay away from those buyers if you notice any sort of towing fees; it could be a scam or a low-quality operation.
Legitimate buyers provide:
- Free towing included with your quote
- No hidden fees at pickup
- Scheduling at your convenience
- Tow trucks equipped for non-running vehicles
When you do receive your quote or if you decide to accept an offer, make sure you confirm with the buyer that towing is free. If it makes you feel more comfortable, you can also ask for any answers in writing.
